Publishing through an actual publishing agency grants your book legitimacy and makes it more likely to be bought by bookstores, libraries and even Amazon customers than if it was self published. You wrote the book. We make sure readers can actually find it.

*Please note that we can only publish manuscripts after a Manuscript Assessment has been completed and you have made the suggested (or similar or otherwise adequate) changes to the manuscript.*

This is to ensure that your book is ready for your readers to enjoy. If you submit a manuscript for publishing which is not yet ready, we will partially refund the amount based on the length of time needed to read your manuscript and determine it was not ready for publication. *We cannot guarantee a full refund, which is why we have the safeguard of a Manuscript Assessment first, to keep the rejection rate low and avoid such issues.*

Manuscript Assessment

Think of this as beta reading, elevated. Your manuscript is read by a team of experienced editors, copywriters, content writers, and fellow authors — not just enthusiastic readers, but people who understand story structure, pacing, and craft. You’ll get honest, constructive feedback that tells you exactly where your manuscript is strong and where it needs work before you invest further. If you’d like to publish your book with us, we require a completed Manuscript Assessment first. This ensures your book is its best self, is bookstore-ready, and avoids the disappointment of publishing rejection. Because when you do publish with us, your manuscript has already had major issues dealt with, so it’s much less likely to be rejected.

Copy Editing

The technical check: grammar, consistency, clarity, and correctness. We do the basics like punctuation errors all the way to sentence structure, jargon and clunky phrases (such as a descriptive phrase landing oddly or creating confusion about meaning). We catch what your eyes have read past a hundred times, so your manuscript reads clean and professional all the way through, just like every other book on the shelves beside it.

Line Editing

A close, sentence-by-sentence pass focused on how your writing flows. We refine word choice, ensure the tone remains consistent (unless that’s a stylistic choice), catch overuse of passive voice, and balance sentence rhythm to sharpen your voice without losing what makes it yours.

Developmental Editing

The big-picture edit. We look at plot, character arcs, pacing, and structure to help your story reach its full potential. We fix continuity errors and plot holes. This is where a good manuscript becomes a great one — before a single sentence gets polished.

Proofreading

The final safety net before publication. A meticulous last read to catch any remaining typos, formatting slips, or small errors — because readers notice the details. This is the step which turns your manuscript into a publishing-level book, and lets it take its rightful place on the shelves of chain bookstores.

Short and Partial Manuscript Services

For manuscripts up to 10,000 words. Professional manuscript assessment, editing, proofreading and formatting for short stories, opening chapters, competition entries, and partial manuscripts. This is for you if you only have a few chapters you’re having issues with, or you just want the beginning and ending of your manuscript edited. Short stories and short nonfiction books and ebooks are also great candidates.
